I could FEEL the rain coming … it wasn’t quite there yet, but it was on its way for sure.  I knew we didn’t need a whole tonne of time, but it never feels good to feel rushed because of weather.  So – we were super efficient and got SO many photos done in a really quick amount of time.

Exactly how I like to do things lol …

Group shots and sock pulls … and a whole bunch of comedians making us all laugh lol …

… I’m not EXACTLY sure what Laura was doing here … but man, she is such a fun-loving, easy-going lady … I had to include this.

I LOVE this next one …

It was time for a change of scenery … I mean, you can only take so many photos on a fairway lol.   So we braved the muck and the wet grass and walked over to the near-by bridge.

The rain was coming … closer.   So I thought we should head for some cover — just in case.

… the pretend church worked perfectly.

Aweeeee … right??

I gave Laura a few minutes to relax while I took a few of Scott on his own …

… but Laura didn’t stay away for long.   And that was a very good thing.  They’re magic together.

…. more?    Is there still more, you ask??

YES.

Stay tuned!!

… my camera had been capturing all the details of Scott + Laura’s morning … and now, it was time to make things official!

The guests had arrived …

… and the ceremony begun …

Laura was radiant …

So many special moments were held in the simple ceremony; a ceremony surrounded by faith and family.

… and when they were announced??  SO.  MUCH.  CHEERING.

Scott and Laura opted to have a receiving line …

But the weather was about to turn – so I suggested we come back to that later, as it was indoors.   It was time to get THIS shot, one they had specifically asked for … and then, the in-betweens were up next …

SO much more to come.   The the in-betweens, the reception … please STAY TUNED.

If you’d like to see Scott + Laura’s engagement session – you can see that HERE .

_ _ _ _

The forecast for their wedding day was rain.   Rain rain rain.   But weathermen can be wrong, right?   So we were finger-crossing it … and I met the guys at the hotel as they prepared to get ready ..

The guys were calm, the room was quiet.    The mood was amazing … steady, happy.   This was going to be a GREAT day.

Scott’s groomsmen were full of jokes and made every moment fun …

… but then it was time to head over to the wedding location, where Laura + her girls were getting ready.

Scott and the guys had arrived, and Laura had a special gift for him …

… and Scott did the same for her.

Before Scott + Laura got ready for their “first look”, all the girls stopped to pray and ask the Lord to be a part of this very special day …

… and then … a selfie lol.

Then, it was time for them to see each other … first looks let the bride and groom have a private moment – without the eyes of all of their guests staring on.

And Scott’s reaction was the BEST.

SO much more to come.   The ceremony, the in-betweens, the reception … STAY TUNED.

It was time for the “original five” … what a beautiful family …

… and the grand-kiddies …

I LOVE THIS …

… and when the nieces and nephews teach their uncle and aunt how to DAB … so fun!

We did more family shots …

… because you never know what’s going to happen.  I love this …

When I asked Steve and Richelle to kiss … Riley reacted the only way he knew how.  He turned away lol …

… and walk away lol …

Then we headed back into Fort Langley, and did a final group portrait …

But I knew that the family had something special for their mom.  See, Sharon is deaf.  And there was something very cool that was about to happen …

While I continued to take portraits of mom and dad, the grandkids were getting ready.

See?  The SHOCK on Sharon’s face?

It was awesome … because, their t-shirts …

YELLED “I LOVE YOU” to their beloved grandmother … and she was THRILLED.

And that was a perfect way to end a perfect #RHPExtendedFamily session.  Thank you – Neufeld Family – for trusting me to capture this special time in your lives.   I had so much fun – and I pray that these images will bring you MUCH joy for a very long time …

This was a VERY special #RHPExtendedFamily session for a VERY special family.  Two sisters and a brother got their families together to celebrate their Mother’s birthday.

I always say … photos are the BEST gift.

The Diesner Family made up one third …

I LOVE this …

And then everyone else arrived.  This photo was requested — it’s a “replica” of a photo taken a number a years ago.  Grandpa and Grandma with the grandkids …

… then I got them to huddle together … cause they were just that cute!

The whole gang was praying the rain would hold off … and so was I.

The Schulz Family made up another third …

And these two hadn’t had photos since their wedding.  I was happy to capture the moment ..

The rain was at bay … I had an idea to go to a location that I love – only to be asked to leave as it was First Nations land —- however, the First Nations were very kind, and offered another location.   So that’s where we headed.

There’s MORE.

So come back, ok?
